I use my urban design background to make our communities' most plentiful and well-used public space, its streets, better places. Here are some of the projects I've worked on:
URBAN DESIGN
I help design streets and public spaces around the United States, developing design concepts and creating plan, section, and three-dimensional drawings to make them a reality.
CHARRETTES
I've participated in several design charrettes for redesigning major commercial streets, including "tactical urbanism" demonstrations to show the benefits of street redesign on a trial basis.
RESEARCH
I produce infographics about major trends in transportation, and lead the data collection for a multiyear transportation study looking at the habits of apartment, office, and retail occupants.
